Cut and Baste

Role: Chief Crafting Officer

Description: Cut and Baste started as a small crafting business where I started making tote bags, cross body bags and assorted items to sell on etsy.

That quickly escalated into selling goods at local craft fairs and becoming more involved in the Colorado crafting scene. Ultimately I was more excited about the creation process and learning about the incredible makers in the area then selling my products.

I had the idea to do a pop-up workshop at a brewery with a simple craft like Felting. My first workshop was a huge success with 17 crafters drinking beer and making felted succulent plants! I took a small break to explore the world of quilting (along with other crafts!).

Now I’m back with multiple workshops planned, and bringing in guests I’m calling “Master Crafters” to teach classes in casual venues. My goal is to build a community of creative people who love to share their passions while learning new skills and connecting with each other.
