A mobile app to drive plasma donation
The value proposition for donating plasma is clear: Donate plasma, earn money, save lives. At Buoy, I led the product design strategy for a consumer-facing mobile app, Parachute Plasma, that empowers plasma donors to connect with donation centers, schedule appointments, engage with meaningful incentives, and track payments.

Appointment scheduling
I designed a new scheduling system that introduced the ability for donors to select mobile donation locations, expanding options beyond traditional brick-and-mortar centers. In addition, I improved the existing appointment booking flow for ease of scheduling, clarity and education resulting in a decrease in support tickets and questions at centers.
Process
Problem definition:
As Parachute expands, donors need a simple and efficient way to choose their preferred donation locations. This is important because different locations may offer greater convenience or higher compensation for donations.Prototyping & internal feedback with

“Well, actually, I definitely like this. And then I see now you're telling me that I'm out of my cycle so thats why I can't schedule.”
From an active donor, who previously had confusion with booking appointments and donation cycles.
Donors have the flexibility to choose from multiple donation locations, allowing them to prioritize either convenience or higher compensation based on their preferences.
The calendar provides a clear, upfront explanation for unavailable dates, effectively reducing the volume of support tickets submitted.
Results
Reduced support tickets related to inquires about why certain dates are blocked
Reduced support tickets regarding donation cycles and levels
Successfully added functionality to select a preferred donation center
Workshop facilitation
I facilitated cross-functional brainstorms and roadmapping sessions, aligning teams on product vision and execution. My workshops are tailored to specific goals but typically follow this pattern:
Align & Learn
Solo & Group Brainstorm
